    I was skeptical buying this phone, as I am with all refurbished purchases, however I received the phone earlier than expected. When unboxed, the phone has a few scratches around the edges but thats fine because a case will hide those. The back and front are in great condition and the cameras. When I put a case on it looks brand new!, the phone also came with a tempered glass with special part where finger scan is done. Phone powers on and set up well. Was able to t use smart switch to transfer from one phone to the other.After set up and use for a few days, it began to restart, I was able to contact the seller who responded within a few hours, ( I had an idea what the issue was) but decided to contact them nonetheless. They informed what to do and get back to them. I did so and.The phone is working like it bought it from the store.This is my own review...not paid.

    I needed an unlocked phone to use in Italy and Austria. I bought this S21+ along with an "Orange Holiday Europe" SIM card.

    The phone arrived in excellent condition, with no scratches or dents. The screen appeared to have been replaced. After setting it up, I tested it by installing SIM cards from AT&T and TELLO, both worked perfectly - it's definitely unlocked.

    Right before the trip, I installed the "Orange" SIM card with the phone powered down. Upon arrival in Italy I powered it up, and it immediately connected to the local service. We used Google Maps to get from the airport to our hotel some 50km's away, no problems at all.

    Photos taken on the trip were excellent. We installed Google Translate and Microsoft Translator which worked perfectly and were a real asset in helping us navigate the foreign signs, menus, etc. We also set up Hot Spot and Tethering, and used that along with wireless calling on our US SIM based phones to make and receive free calls and texts to/from US numbers. It all worked as expected with no issues.

    There are two minor issues to report.

    The battery life was OK, I would start each day at 100% but by end of day it typically had around 30% remaining. My new (locked) S23+ easily gets two days on a single charge.

    I did notice a minor blemish on the screen after a week of using it. At first I thought it was just a greasy smear, but no amount of cleaning has managed to remove it. I didn't notice this when I first received the phone so it most likely manifested after use. It would seem to be a flaw with the screen itself. I did not use a screen protector, which may or may not have helped to prevent it from occurring. Fortunately it's close to the bottom of the screen and has not really affected the viewing area, nor has it affected the touch screen in the area of the blemish.

    All-in-all I am happy with this phone. I plan to use it for future international trips as it can do what I need without having to pay the $10-a-day AT&T International Roaming plan - that soon gets very expensive with 2 or more phones.

    Dislikes: No additional SD Card slot to add more memory for apps, photos, videos, etc. 128G max storage memory. Battery heats up entire phone when in use. The back cameras seem to be the warmest area when this happens. Happens to keep hands warm during very cold days. Battery also discharges extremely fast. Charging cord and USB box sent with the phone can barely keep up with charging the phone sometimes. Usually charge at night, over night. I miss my old Galaxy S20 Ultra I had before this one. It was super fast, and never had issues with Battery.

    Likes: has option for a digital Sim card as well as a regular Sim Card. SUPER FAST, PLAYS CoDM very well. Very low latencies or lag between servers and the phone. Phone was unlocked for all carriers. This was a plus as my Sim card I was shipped a few months back was about to expire due to use or lose policies of company I go through.
    Was very simple to set up. However, phone was default set to Spanish when I received it. And took me a little bit to get the primary language set to English. The was no user manual sent with the product either.
    Overall I am satisfied with the item I received for the price I paid for this item.

    The phone I received (after I had logged into my Google account and transferred personal data to the device); was found to have a 3rd party app still installed which CLAIMED OWNERSHIP OF THE PHONE. Uninstallation of the app, which said that it had administrative privileges and that anyone with access to the base program could view/alter content of the phone; was allowed, yet the app warned it may leave residual holes in the phones security. After deleting the app, I notified Amazon about this seller potentially selling devices which were not completely initialized and may still be under the control of the device's previous owner.

    Since I don't sell/send-off data storage devices which I have entered personal information into, I will not be opting to swap for another potentially more defective unit.

    It has now been discovered that this device drops connection from WiFi without notification nor any indication of connection loss- except that messages cannot be received over WiFi until the WiFi connection is disconnected/re-enabled or the phone is restarted: this seems to happen almost daily and will likely force me into an unlimited data phone plan, on account of needing reliable connection while at home- assuming it won't require the SIM card to be removed and reinserted due to a similar issue with cellular connectivity.

    Company declined to refund me anything, citing that the 50% refund I requested was "more than they would ever offer;" yet I believe they were reluctant to offer any partial refund, due to my notifying them that I threw them under the bus to Amazon's customer service.

    This is the type of device reseller who would shamelessly sell stolen property- because they can always offer a device swap if they're found out. They are unaccountable for tricking Amazon customers into trusting devices they were in charge of making safe/secure for the customer, yet they are wholly unaccountable to the potential damages which their negligence may allow.

    Due to this experience, my family will no longer trust Amazon's refurbished phone resellers, like we have in the past.

    First time I try a refurbished phone. But the price and phone capabilities were basically to good to be true... So I decided to go with the "excellent" option. There is not a scratch, dent or anything on this phone. It is immaculate, it's new. Yes it comes in a generic white box and has a usb-c cable and the sim port ejector. No charger. But if you buy this phone new, it does not come with a charger anyway.... I inserted my sim card, powered on the phone, followed the on-screen direction and done... Even the OS was already updated to Android 12... I then used SmartSwitch and transferred my data to the new phone. Done. Everything works!! We did have an issue with delivery, but that was a Canada Post problem and the supplier resolved the issues right away. Excellent phone, excellent supplier!!
