I looked at and read reviews about a lot of ultra wide monitors before buying. This monitor incorporates every feature I wanted at a very reasonable price. I am not a gamer so I can't comment on how this one stacks up for gaming. However, I can say that for my purposes this monitor did not disappoint. I wanted an ultra wide screen for my bible software which opens many sub-windows. This screen has plenty of real estate to work with, yet the width and curvature are perfect for my visual field Compared to this one, the top line 27" flat monitor I replaced, in retrospect was dim and muddy. It's like having cataracts removed. Afterward you are amazed at how bad, blurry and yellowish your view of the world was. Colors on this one are vibrant and true, and the display is very bright. Resolution is amazing. Text is crisp. I use dark mode a lot and there is no light bleed on this screen that I can detect. Reflection also is very low for a curved screen. The monitor itself is beautiful. The case is mostly plastic but the materials and construction are top quality and this monitor in no way looks or feels cheap. The stand is sturdy and adjustable for height, tilt, pivot, and rotation. Pivot rotation is limited to 20 deg in either direction from the horizontal because the screen mount is not high enough to rotate 90 deg. The screen is very stable on the stand with only minimal wobble when tapping the outer edges. The stand design is completely stable to tipping; there is no chance of this monitor falling over. Screen adjustments are easily made using a small joy stick control on the lower right hand back corner. The only complaints I have are (1) the "Display User Guide" which is very abbreviated, providing the bare minimum information to get started, and (2) the input ports which face downward and are a bit awkward to plug cables into. The ports are located behind a removable magnetic panel which keeps popping loose because of pressure of the cables behind it. Spring loaded grab latches would have a been better closure choice.
To summarize, in my opinion, this monitor is top notch and a fantastic value. Obviously, longevity is still a question, but the high quality materials and the superb construction and fit speak to a durable long lasting product. I highly recommend this monitor.

A Great Budget Option for Gamers (PC and PS5)
I bought this monitor on March 23, 2024 and received it on April 2. It's now May 28th as I'm writing this, so I've been using this monitor for 1 month and 26 days.I ordered the 27" 170Hz curved version and where I'd normally have 1 HDMI port and 2 DP ports, I got 2 of each (am I lucky or did I get a new model? I don't know, but thanks), which suited me (lol), I use it as a secondary screen for my MacBook Pro (M1 Pro) via HDMI and play my PS5 on it.To my great surprise on PC, I discovered that the screen could go up to 4K@60Hz, but I use it in 1440p@144Hz by default (except when I'm watching 4K content), HDR is, I'd say satisfactory, it's not much but visually, you can see that there's a difference between SDR and HDR, when it comes to reading and writing documents, in general it's fine, but sometimes texts have this sort of halo that makes them slightly unreadable and blurred, but nothing too disturbing (as far as I'm concerned).For the PS5, the default display is in 4K@60Hz, but it can indeed do 120Hz but only in 1440p@120Hz, for some reason the PS5 only does the following signals:- In 4K: 60Hz and 50Hz only, no 30Hz or 24Hz, (being HDMI 2.0 logically there will be no 48Hz so no VRR, which is the case);- In 1440p: 120Hz and 60Hz only, no 50Hz, 30Hz or 24Hz;- Finally, in 1080p: 60Hz and 50Hz only, no 30Hz or 24Hz.(The screenshots are in French, but it's nothing complicated to understand.)The monitor doesn't have a built-in speaker, which isn't a problem because I'd already planned to use it with a soundbar or my headphones (directly connected to the console) when I play games requiring greater concentration, in the description on the manufacturer's website it says "USB 2. 0 (upgrade only)", so the USB has no other use apart from updating the monitor's firmware, which didn't bother me because I use it to power my soundbar, which operates via USB and uses the monitor's built-in jack port for sound, so nothing is left unused.I'm not using the DisplayPorts because I don't have a device that requires it, but I've ordered a Desktop and I intend to use the DisplayPort with it, so I'll update the review when I do.All that said it's a very good monitor, since I've had it I haven't had any problems with it, so I highly recommend it, the price seems pretty fair for what it offers, I got it for $161.48 but with the code "H27S17" I got 5% off, reducing its price to $153.41, I don't know if the promo code will still work but feel free to try it if it still does.

Apparently MiniLED also introduces some minor lag, but personally I thought this had really good motion clarity, probably because it is also FastIPS. IPS is said to lower contrast compared to VA, but the WAY better motion clarity and local dimming makes this monitor a decent middleground for gamers that are interested in HDR but don't want to get a VA or OLED monitor.
Other than that, its a 4K 144+Hz display, what more could you want?
As for compatibility, there is only 1 thing you should know, the instructions don't say anything about VESA mounting, and the standard 100x100 plate won't fit flat on the back. You will need to use the included standoffs, contrary to what it says in a different review of this display. Hopefully you have a hex screwdriver handy because that's how you connect them to the back of the monitor, other than that the installation is good. I think the stand is good, it's a square bottom. (in my opinion, much better than the traditional leg design or circular design that takes up an awkward amount of space on my desk).
UPDATE2:
I figured out what the problem with waking is. When your system is idle and shuts off the displays to save power, typically, this monitor will go into "sleep mode", and then enter "power saving mode" immediately after. This is good for saving power, but when there are multiple monitors connected, both monitors will enter sleep, but then this monitor enters power-saving mode, and then, the 2nd monitor will be woken from sleep mode momentarily. I assume the only solution would be to get another monitor that supports "power saving mode", or have 2 of these, or ask windows to actually put the computer into regular sleep mode when idling.
