At first I wasn’t able to get the full 165 hz and for the life of me I couldn’t figure out why (I’m a new pc gamer so don’t judge). In case you want the answer, I switched the HDMI cable to a DPI cable and now I get the full 165hz. The monitor is beautiful, but my only gripe is the brightness levels. Even minor adjustments to the blacks make the screen too dark for FPS like CoD (I already wear glasses) and then when adding brightness to compensate, it’s just washed out. The contrast didn’t seem to make too much of a difference to my eyes either. Maybe I’m missing something. I will admit, it’s a bit large of a screen for ideal gaming, slightly too much ground to cover. A 27” would probably be perfect, but I’m not complaining. 5 stars.
