Battery life total rubbish!!!

Your better off buying a watch for around £50, this is just as accurate as one for that price BUT for the price the problems with this are too many to mention.....for one you have to wear this half way up your arm for the blood pressure monitor to work and on top of that you have to calibrate it EVERY month with a cuff monitor so just buy the cuff monitor and be done with it I did in the end. I also did 400 steps just taking it out of the box and putting it on charge, whilst sitting on the couch! But the biggest bug bear by far is the pathetic battery life, less than 2 days! And I don't use any of the phone related gimmicks like messages, emails, phone calls or camera none of these are activated I just use it for the health monitoring side! A waste of money.

Galaxy Watch 3 was better

First things first, it's a good watch and does loads of things but my god the battery is awful. I wake up at 10am, I don't use the watch at all and by 3.30pm it's on 9% and asking me to put it into battery saving mode. I don't have WiFi on, I don't have Bluetooth on, the "always on" display is off (another thing, always on display doesn't seem to actually mean always on - screen still goes blanck/blank after 30 seconds)

The health monitoring stuff is amazing. It does pulse rate, EKG, body fat %, blood pressure etc... but like previous versions it will not work if you have tattoos under you watch.

It doesn't give me all my notifications s, it seems to pick and choose which ones I get to see.

Personally, my galaxy watch 1 and 3 where better in terms of battery, this only has a few more uses and they're very power hungry so a bit of a gimmick.

Apple watch seems better but I don't have any apple products so seemed kinda pointless.

Battery is rhe biggest let down, you need to charge twice a day.

If I charge to 100% and then put it on to sleep to record sleep patterns etc... I'll lose 40% battery over night sleeping. You'll need spare chargers in the car, the office and portable on your bag just to get through a day.

Unusable due to rubbish battery life, for example 60% made it from about 8pm to 7am, tried many different settings to no avail, and really I shouldn't have to work so hard to make a watch battery last a reasonable duration. My current Galaxy Watch 1 lasts far better strangely and I use the same health monitors. Avoid is my recommendation.
Returned and went back to my Galaxy watch 1 classic

I am not impressed at all. Poor battery life, not very pleasing design requirement to log into Google account and the new software is not letting you use any older watchfaces.
All these things are hardly balanced by new gimmick of a sensor.
After recent fiasco where the galaxy watch was missing in package and this horrendous thing I think I'll stick with my S3 Frontier.

Awful Battery life

The watch looks great...er...that's it.
I was supposedly upgrading my Huawei Gt3 for this but to be honest it's a massive downgrade.
First off there is a terrible choice of watch faces, anything half decent and you have to pay an extortionate price via the wear app, something I won't do for something I've already shelled out a fortune for.
Secondly my Huawei was far more reliable in counting steps, recognising your activity etc
Lastly, the battery. After a full charge and not using anything other than for telling the time with nothing switched on in the background , I can barely make 24 hours without charging anxiety starting. The battery life is truly awful. I've deleted the cache, reset the watch, rebooted..everything the Internet gurus have advised and its still terrible.
To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I find myself pining for my long since sold Huawei.

This is a watch that I would love to have, but the battery life is a joke and when using the Lte to make calls away from your phone is is useless because it constantly overheats and almost flattens the battery, in fact it overheats regularly as it keeps searching for a mobile connection and renders the watch unusable until it switches itself back on again. This was the 3rd one I've had and all 3 suffered exactly the same problems so returned them. Waited for the Samsung watch 5 Lte to be announced and that has the same issues of bad battery life and keeps on overheating despite numerous updates. My advice would be to buy an Apple smartwatch if you want Lte or the Ticwatch pro ultra Lte which do not have these issues.

The watch itself is good, however the battery is poor, doesn't fast charge, doesn't last even a morning unless you put it in power saving mode but then you lose features, battery dropped from 100% to 80% in the first hour! Had to put it in power saving mode to get through the day, also nothing had a plastic film on it when unboxing makes me think its actually a refurb!

Decent features from a big name brand but failed to deliver. Following 2 attempts via Amazon, the first was sent with no charger and the second had a battery life of a maximum 6h once fully charged. That was without using GPS, listening to music etc and occasional glances to see the time. Perhaps it was faulty but I lost my patience and opted for a reliable Garmin instead!

Well I ordered one and I admit I loved the watch itself looked good and felt good. But sadly it was crazy as I never got a full day out of the watches battery and was not under real heavy usage and never had the watchface on AOD. Always On Display and screens display was not that bright. I have given up with Samsung galaxy watches. I hated sending it back but if it can't hold a 24 charge its no use to me I'm afraid. Seriously think long and hard before you buy

Faulty blood pressure monitor

I purchased this watch because it has a blood pressure monitor. However this does not work. It goes to 98% then says weak signal cannot measure. Very disappointed. Since this review the blood pressure monitor works sometimes. Seems to work in certain places and not others. The BP monitor and the ecg do not work on non Samsung devices. Luckily I found this out before purchase and obtained a Samsung phone as I need the BP and ecg due to kidney failure/dialysis. Should have mentioned this in my original review. Otherwise its a great watch
