I was an iPhone devotee for many years. But believing that change is good I migrated to Android back when huawei weren’t the devil, (P20). I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed Android until recently. So much so I found no reason to change for quite a few years. Recently I was concerned that the P20 was ageing so decided to replace it. So again reasoning that change is good(at least for the mind) I returned to Apple. I am so, so dissatisfied with this new 15 pro max. Besides an appalling migration experience despite following the instructions to the letter(which didn’t actually work for my twin sim phone) (government please please legislate to make them provide a seemless migration option, to encourage competition) after spending some 4 to 5 hours toiling to make to make the transition to a point where I could use my new phone somewhere close to my old, I’m exhausted. (I run two e-commerce websites, and the backend of the supply chain of a small business, so am probably tech savvy and normally don’t fret over such). In short it feels like I just spent 1400£ to go technologically backwards 4 or 5 years and have raised blood pressure for little or no reward. Think twice, research, and then research again and DONT be taken in by sophisticated marketing.
