For apple aficionados, these are superb. So easy to set up and work so well. If lost or away from the owner any passing iPhone will update the position.

The find mode is very neat too, it's like cheating in hide and seek following a display on the phone or iPad showing distance and direction. Perfect for habitual losers of keys, wallets etc.

Couple of points to watch for if you're putting one onto a bike or car. Firstly if the AirTag has not connected to the owner's phone for 3 days it will assume it's lost and start playing a merry tune to attract attention. Sure this would soon flatten the battery. Bear this one in mind if the protected object is not in daily use or physically close to you daily - eg a classic car or bike in a garage may not be.

More interesting is the anti-stalking feature which warns (after about 24 hours according to what I read) that an AirTag is travelling with the stalking victim or thief. There's an option to make the AirTag play a sound so it can be easily found and disabled, which if you're using it as a car or motorbike tracker rather defeats the objective unless the rightful owner has managed to disable the speaker. before hiding the tag!

Lots of cases and holders available now on Amazon, take a look.
