This extension lead feels quite well made for the very modest price that I paid for it from Amazon.
The casing is plastic (as you would expect), and I like the grey and green colour scheme here. Build wise I would suggest it's appropriate for domestic use or light DIY projects but not for heavy duty stuff like a building site.
I was pleased to see a decent quality plug attached to the cable. The winding mechanism works well and I have had no issues at all with this in use.
We mainly use it to provide power to use home electricals on our covered balcony, for example to sit outside and use the laptop while charging. I will also use it to power the hoover outdoors to clean the car. It seems ideal for such things.
