What a great producte
So I needed a new extendable hose reel this time quite long to reach bottom garden. No faith in many of the models available quite frankly some are just not up to the job. I did my research and fortunately came across this Amazon Basic with the many very favourable reviews. Upwards of 4.5 out of five got my interest and except for two usual moaners griping about fittings and quality I considered this was worth a try. Delivered promptly and fitted and working within 30mins. The plugs and screws are correct and do the job. For once the reel easily extends and rewinds with no problem. Looks good as per photo. Just what I wanted and so glad I purchased this Amazon Basic product. Anyone with basic DIY skills and the correct tools can fit this with ease. Look no further. This is quality and well made. Hopefully I’ll get a few more years out of this than my previous purchases A1.

I've wanted a self reeling hose for ages, and at this price you can't go wrong..the named ones are double this price, but offer nothing any different..
It arrived well packaged and in 10 mins I had it fitted to the wall and connected to my outside tap..it has a strong pull out hose and it retracts really well..it also comes with an adjustable handle for tension should you need it..
So far, it's a great bit of kit for the money.. Cheers

Wanted one of these for ages after many so called tangle free alternatives. Had it for 5 days now and it is brilliant. Decide where you want it, drill four holes to insert rawl plugs and screw to wall and then connect to water supply - simple. Important to read instructions on every day use, especially on pulling out hosepipe to water plants etc and retracting back to wall fitting to ensure hose rewinds correctly, ie: when you finish watering, do not just set the spring loaded return mechanism to rewind and let it go but keep hold of the hosepipe and walk with it to allow correct reloading back into storeage holder thus preventing damage to spring rewind mechanism and spray attachment! One small dislike was the spray gun supplied with it. I prefer a gun shaped attachment and ordered an 'Aqua Flow garden hosepipe spray gun' with a thumb operated water pressure control which imo gives a more comfortable hold without having to keep the normal trigger depressed. Also, so far, shows no sign of early leakage problems like many others. Time will tell but early signs are good and can therefore only recommend both products as excellent value.

I'll be honest I was a little skeptical about buying this Amazon "basics" in favour of a more well known brand however on getting out of the box my fears became a thing of the past, it's a very well made top quality product, it's well up there with the brand leaders but at a more reasonable price, not had it long so time will tell but if my initial feelings are right with regards to it's durability and its seemingly good engineering then I look forward to using it in many years to come, the only negative point and it's me being a bit picky is that the tap connector and adjustable sprayer could be of a bit better quality, but hey don't let that put you off buying one cos it's fantastic value for money

The hose works as expected, bought this for it's smaller size to fit a gap between buildings. Ideal space saving hose pulls out and retracts perfectly. The only small letdown is their own attachments aren't the best but as I bought it for the hose I'm happy, as I have my own hose lock attachments, same fittings.

I never have much luck with hoses, I’ve tried loads over the years and always end up with them failing one way or other so decided to spend a bit more this time, so far so good, I’ve hung on the wall with the supplied plugs and screws which have more than done the job, the hose is good quality although did kink at first but now it on the wall no sign since, the auto wind back feature is good although I did need to work it out, only had it a week or two but pleased so far

This amazon branded product does not work and is not fit for purpose. Went to the trouble of drilling holes in my back wall to fit the hose. Hooked it up to the tap and turned on the water and the hose body started leaking water with some small bit of water coming out of the hose with a lot less power. Once the hose was fully extended no water came out of the hose.
The returns process was even worse. There are amazon vans driving up and down my road several times a day but I still have to package it up and organise my own courier after taking it back off the wall. Missed half a day of work waiting for the courier to collect. Probably another half day writing emails and phoning amazon trying to get a refund. Told Im getting a refund but all Ive got is the courier refunded but not the hose. Still waiting 3 weeks later for a refund supposed to take 5 days.

Acheté il y a 2 ans pour remplacer un autre (marque la plus réputée au nom italien), je l'ai trouvé bien supérieur comparé au précédent: 1/ tuyau plus rigide ne se pinçant jamais, 2/ dévidoir puissant obligeant à légèrement freiner le retour plutôt que de constamment aider le tuyau à se ré-enrouler, 3/ moins cher. Pas de problème après 2 ans.

Avevo già acquistato dei prodotti Amazon Basics e ne sono sempre stato soddisfatto. Devo dire che pure questa volta non ne sono rimasto deluso.
Il montaggio del prodotto è abbastanza facile e il fatto che sia progettato per un montaggio a parete permette di poter occupare meno spazio nel vostro giardino.
Il design permette facilmente di ruotare il prodotto fino a 180 gradi in modo da potervi spostare mentre innaffiate il vostro giardino. Inoltre sull'avvolgitubo è presente una maniglia che facilita la presa e lo spostamento in caso di necessità.
Un altro valore aggiunto è la leggerezza del prodotto.
L'utilizzo è molto comodo e semplice, il movimento dell'avvolgitubo è fluido (sia in entrata che in uscita) e il getto del tubo è facilmente regolabile grazie all'ugello.
In conclusione mi sento di consigliare questo prodotto in quanto comodo, utile, funzionale e dall'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.
