This is an excellent Amazon Basics 12 Sheet Micro-Cut Paper shredder, & Credit card and CD Shredder for Office/Home, within my needs that meets security level P-4 standard. This shredder cuts (4x12mm) because of different brands of shredders on the market all makes are different standards of security level when it come into a P-4 its the same as Mini-cut P4 shredder (see below). This Amazon shredder will cut 12 pages quick (depending on GSM) All Mini/Micro shredders are slow but when you need more security and peace of mind for your family this is worth it compare with Cross -cut P4, I found the 20 minutes on time is good for this Amazon Basic model, plus I haven't gone behind that 20minute mark and I shred 75 sheets of paper within that time and I still haven't empty my bin yet as you see in the images, because it cuts very small particles you won't need to empty the bin that often like Cross cut P4, on top of this machine will tell you in (Red light on top) when you overload the motor, overheat, door open, bin full.
