Tried probably 5 or 6 cheaper cases before accepting the Otterbox premium pricing. I wanted a decent front bumper because that is why I cracked my previous Note9. A front facing fall on a small rock in the laundry room did the damage and a $400 bill to replace the permanently damage screen. Additionally, I wanted a rubberized antislip design for one handed grip of my new s23 Ultra, no sliding on glass table or on pants. Preferably a slim profile if possible and a FLAT back so that I could leave it on its back while having a decent cameras protection. Guess what, the Otterbox Defender is the closest I found to all my criterias... Unlike any other, the inside of the case has a gel like film for extra protection on the glass back of the phone. The only step left was to pay the premium and finally stop searching. In insight, I should have gone straight to this case vs wasting time and money... I would highly recommend.
