I wanted a good quality, simple, clear case that would protect my new phone but still let the colour be seen (pale seafoam green). To that end, this case does the job nicely. It looks like there is some extra protection on the corners, and the edge is raised a millimeter or two to protect the front screen if the phone is dropped on a flat surface face down. The plastic is smooth without being slippery, with slightly grippier edges/sides, and overall it feels good and secure enough in the hand.
Note that there are no cut-outs for the power button or the volume rockers, so if that matters to you, then you won't want this case. Also, there seems to be a very, very slight bulge in the side area where the plastic covers the power button and volume rocker, but it doesn't bother me and has not affects its use or access to those buttons. To clean it (which I don't have to do very often), I just wipe it down.
I have been using the case for a couple of months, and overall I am happy with it. I think it offers a great value. The only "improvement" or addition I would appreciate would be some sort of sturdy foldaway stand or hand grip, but this basic case really does do the job well enough.
