These Fuguan Gel pens are fine point 0.5mm gel ink, allowing you to write very finely. I have tested the entire pack to write smoothly and without blotching; and because it's fine, the ink dries very fast so it quickly won't smudge. The fine point is great for diagrams, and adding notes on the side because I can write smaller with it. The barrel is smooth, yet easy to grip comfortably and the different colors add a pop of fun to the pen. I did wish this pack was multicolor ink like the barrels though =P
