I have wanted to install cams around the house for the longest time and what usually sets me back is extra charges and fees to view content.....well no more with these Tapo cams. I bought 4 c210 cams and 1 255 cam pointed at my back yard through the kitchen window.
Set-up is beyond simple and with little effort I was able to see cctv on my samsung tv through smartthings app. App on my phone is easy and flawless although not super fast but then again nether is any cam remote software.ie alarmforce bell etc.
I have put 128G memory in all cams and it records in a loop with quality sound color and image at 2k. Even if it disconnects from my wifi it just keeps taping. Wonderful.
I turned off all the alarms and set motion and person notifications . It was non stop ringing on my phone.
I can go to each event on the cam timeline and see what triggered it. Too simple.
If you wanna get a cam system at more than decent prices get these. They catch very low light and are clear . the c210 does motion sensing without subscription. I turned off all the automation but you can make it sweep and so much more. Lots of bang for your 35$ per cam.
