This product works great; it holds my iPhone 12 without tipping or tilting and keeps everything sturdy even if I drive over bumpy terrain. However, the magnet is TOO good. The product description advertises this as a "one-handed operation" but that's only for when you're putting your phone into the holder. You're not removing your phone single-handedly unless you're Andre the Giant. I have to use both my hands and be extra careful not to rip my vents out of the dash, and the round face of the unit usually comes right off and needs to be popped back into the ball socket once I remove my phone.
The instructions are also not clear. I did not realize that if you have a MagSafe case (I don't,) that you do not need to install the adhesive magnet to the back of your phone. Now I'm stuck with the magnet on my phone and cannot for the life of me remove it. I've already bent most of my fingernails back painfully trying to get it off to no avail.
All in all, I'm not thrilled with the product. I'd like to return it but for the magnet that's stuck on my phone. I'd appreciate it if the seller reached out to me to troubleshoot.
