1st SD card inserted and formatted as internal. Worked for half a day and the. Message saying card was removed please reinsert. Removed card and put in another device and which says card was corrupted so card was formatted and inserted in fire tablet and this time formatted as external. Within two hours comes another msg about card being corrupted.
Thought the issue was the card so I ordered a new card from Amazon. New card comes and install and format this card as external. It works for a day so decided the card is fine I decided to format as internal. 2 hours later, new message telling me the card is corrupted. I check and see that storage no longer shows the card but I can see it in settings as corrupted. I format the card again as internal and then it disappears. It tells me the card was removed now I cannot see it in settings at all.
My conclusion is that tablet is malfunctioning somehow. I will need a new one because I need to have that functionality or the tablet is useless to me. Both cards have been 128GB variety. Two different brand names as well .
