This was one of the first iterations of LG's "nanoIPS" tech The picture quality is great and everything runs smooth at 160 hz. The problem is in 2023 we still have recent games that are released without ultrawide support. Elden Ring for example, and all of the resident evil remakes. And If you prefer older titles and retro PC games you'll be stuck trying to find workarounds to get them to work at the unusual resolution. Most webpages are designed for 16:9 and most content on the internet is as well. So expect a lot of blank white dead space on the sides as you browse the web or Youtube. For movies its great and for the games that support the resolution its also great but unless watching movies and gaming is all you do i would hesitate to recommend an ultrawide. But if you are set on getting an UW you cant go wrong with this LG. I eventually retired mine and went for a 27 inch 16:9 OLED. its gonna be my main until 4k OLEDS arrive at 32"
