Purchased as novelty lighting for our living room. The product was very well packaged. No missing or damaged parts. Easy to assemble but one important point to note:
> You will think that the light strip is too long. Don't cut it! Push both ends in first and then push in the middle part. The top half and bottom half will still bulge out a bit. Continue to push in those middle sections and eventually the light strip will settle into the channel. You do have to manipulate it into the channel a bit.
To operate the light, you must download the Govee Home app (create an account, enable bluetooth and location). There is no physical remote control. The app did take me a little while to sort out but it works great and has several lighting options already set up. It looks like you can also program your own options but I haven't had time to look at that yet. You can also set it to plain white light too (and select warmth and brightness).
Found the overall construction to be sturdy and the light/colours/effects are just great! Lots of fun. :-)
