Insta360 is going to take over this product category. The quality and features that allow you to shoot expert-quality videos easily are amazing. If you place the unit in the right spot and hit record, you can't mess up the shot as you can reframe it after in post, which is mind-blowing!
I'd classify Insta360 as a software company that requires hardware.
To maximize the X3's capabilities, prepare to buy a bunch of accessories, such as spare batteries, a large storage card, a selfie stick, a travel carrying case, and a bunch of Go Pro action camera mounts to match what you want to capture.
Also, invest in a good full-unit case and a silicon lens protector cap. Watch lots of YouTube reviews and tutorial videos to help fully understand the X3 and how to use it properly.
