This brush isn't as stiff as you'd expect a boar bristle brush to be, so if that's what you're looking for, you might be disappointed with this one. That said, it handles hair like the stiffer ones, but feels more comfortable to use for finer hair.
The brush was easy to clean with mild soap and water and, even though the handle is wood, it can handle a few minutes in water. Otherwise, it would be very difficult to clean because the bristles are very close together.
It's a smaller brush than I was expecting, but that worked out because I wanted it for my tween and it fits her small hands very comfortably.
I don't care for the metal container the wax comes in, but the product itself worked well. It goes directly onto hair smoothly without leaving wax bits (at least, so far), and it doesn't have any fragrance or odour to it.
Used together, this set works well to help smooth fine hair and make it look thicker and healthier.
