This camera is great when it works...which is not very often. It loses connection to WIFI. I have to go up on a ladder to reset it. Reset button doesn't work. Have to unplug it, wait a bit, then it enters set up mode.
Customer service told me my WIFI signal was too weak. I bought a WIFI extender, and placed it near the camera. WIFI still drops off.
Customer service refused to send me a new one.
Cancelled my "ring protect", which was $150 per year CDN
Do yourself a favor...buy google nest, this product is not worth it
Edit- I was contacted by Ring support and they went over my problem with me. After speaking to them they agreed it was not normal behaviour for the camera to go offline and they would send me out a new one.
Received the new one today. Installed it and it seems to be working fine.
I wish the initial contact with Ring had been better, but once it was escalated to the tech department their service was excellent
I have changed my rating to account for the excellent tech support I received.
