For me it pairs perfectly with the app and measures accurately. I love the Bluetooth option because I am able to measure half asleep, close it and go back to sleep. The thermometer stores my temperature and I can open the app and sync when I am fully awake. They also have a free lifetime subscription to their premium app with the use of the thermometer.
