1. The front lip is raised same as the Spigen case so screen protection is similar. Spigen lip is bit thicker not sure if that would provide more protection.
2. ESR mentions military grade protection. Both brands offer air cushioning protection for the edges.
3. ESR case feels lighter and slimmer than the Spigen case.
4. The kickstand is where the ESR shines. It allows for vertical and horizontal standing orientation as well as different angles between 0 to 60 degrees.
At current the ESR costs same or less than the Spigen case so it is a better value for money at present, and offers a better kickstand.

I had been using the Spigen Armor Kickstand case for my previous Samsung phones, and it can get boring using the same model case for every new phone so I decided to give ESR case a chance as it allowed for a horizontal as well as vertical standing position for the phone. A great fitting kickstand case with good level of protection
