Been using Ring Video Doorbells the past few years and they have worked great. Recently within the past couple months we have had our windows broken twice by punk kids in the neighborhood at night (We don't live in the best neighborhood), caught them on video, but the video was too dark and grainy for the police to use from the Ring Video Doorbell Camera. So we ended up buying a couple Ring Spotlight Cams for the extra lightning, better video and siren. Love that it lights up when motion is detected and have already chased off a couple shady looking kids hanging out near my back yard with the alarm siren. Very happy with the upgrade, don't think the kids will be getting away with that again (hopefully) Only small downside is the subscription fee of $150 to record video for all the cameras for the year, works out to around $12 a month or so not too bad for piece of mind and way cheaper than the $54 plus tax a month telus wanted for cameras. So still very happy so far, will be sticking with Ring stuff for the foreseeable future.
