Let me tell you that you get a great unlocked phone for the bang ! I comes completely equiped with a protective case and screen-shield applied already, which is great as you don't need to buy any other accessory to get started. The protective silicon case fits perfectly fine, though it's a little smoke-grey, which kills the nice body color of the phone (I ordered my in light purple).
The case protrudes a bit to protect the 3 lenses that are in the back. Speaking of the Camera lens(es), the 64-bit and wide-angle lens do a great job. The embedded AI engine does recognize 13 different picture situation and does great in Macro-photos as well (see #3).
The box comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable of about 3 ft and a pin to eject the SIM tray. Tray has two slots, from which one can be either SIM or SDC memory card (the specs say up to 1TB, though I've only a 128GB card to test with).
The phone feels solid and being a native Android 13 ROM, is free of of any clutter and ad-filled apps that sometime come with some other brands and OS's. Thanks to Google's account transfer wizard, I managed to transfer the content of my entire previous Android 13 phone thru a USB-C to USB-C cable within 25 minutes (all pictures, videos, apps & data included). That was about 45GB of data.
I love the fact that you can use an FM Radio app without having to hook up a head-set on the 3.5 jack which is provided on the top of the phone... makes listening to your local radio stations a breeze! Built-in NFC is magic when you used to it and I'd never go back to a phone which doesn't have NFC.. not only can you pay by tap at the grocery, but you can also reload and check balance of your local commuter tickets (which are mostly chip card nowadays) if an app is available.
I've installed AccuBattery to check the battery capacity and drain. So far the phone works thru a full day of moderate use and still has about 50% juice left at the end of the day. The app is great to provide stats on which apps are drawing most juice and which ones are most active. Battery is given for 5000mAh and should get thru the days easily, even with intensive use.
All in All a great phone for the price. I've ordered other Umidigi phones in the past for my family members and they were always happy with them, but this one is going to be mine to replace my other aging droid device.
