Colour Name: BlackVine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
This is a decent multifunctional tablet stand (or whatever else you wanna use it for) that's height adjustable and for the most part well-constructed although it's entirely made of plastic. It doesn't exactly feel flimsy but it does feel a bit cheap and certainly far from great since the plastic seems a bit fragile around the hinges and the entire stand lacks certain stability (i.e. wobbles a bit) when larger and/or heavier tablet is put on it.

It's somewhat versatile given its hinge design but they don't tilt as much as I'd like them to and they are less than many other with similar design (i.e. 2x hinges). It's truly height adjustable with extendable arm rather than just using the hinges for height adjustment; however, it does NOT have a rotatable base which limits of usefulness somewhat. With that being said, it's certainly not just for tablets, or phones (or even small and ultra lightweight laptops, chromebooks, or portable monitor etc as long it can fit) if you can find other uses for it.

In additional to the usual forward/backward tiltable hinges (mostly 2-4 hinges) employed by most other tablet/phone stands out there, this particular stand also has extendable supporting arm for true height adjustment although it can only extend by about 4cm which isn't a whole lot given the circumstance and I do find it slightly less stable when it's fully extended coupled with a relatively heavy tablet during the test.

≡ Physical build
The physical build quality is reasonably decent although far from the great since it has an all-plastic construction including the support arm and all the hinges which I can't say I'm a big fan of. At a minimum, I'd like to the hinges reinforced with some type of metal, or better yet, made with metal instead.

The base is reasonably large and it's weighted (i.e. with metal inside) to better support slightly larger and heavier tablets etc; however, it's still not enough in my mind for larger and heavier tablets which is quite typical of most of those budget tablets (i.e. noticeably heavier than iPad or other brand-brand tablets, for instance). It's certainly a lot better than just plastic alone although and I don't think the tablet will actually be stable at all if the base isn't weighted.

Similarly, both hinges are made of plastic and they are perhaps the weakest link for the entire product because just don't seem sturdy and strong enough to last that long. The hinges are also rather limited on how much they can tilt (pic 8) and that would significantly reduce their overall lifespan since a simple and careless mistake can possibly break the hinge (with relative ease as well).

What I like it this tablet the most is perhaps its foldable feet/lip that I believe ALL tablet/phone stands should have instead because they are just that much easier to work with. The feet themselves are also padded with rubber alone with the base at the bottom. As aforementioned, the supporting arm can extend out for about 4cm which isn't a lot but it's certainly better than nothing I suppose.

≡ Tilt and rotation
It does NOT have a 360° rotating base but it does have tiltable hinges. I should point out that the supporting arm is attached top/tablet plate near the bottom (of the plate) vs. the top and this particular design adds addition height to the stand as a whole, which I do appreciate. It also greatly increases its overall usability in my eyes because it offers greater range of motion if needed.

≡ Value
All things considered, this is a decent tablet/phone stand that's reasonably well-constructed and works just fine without issues. It has extendable supporting arm (by about 4cm) which greatly increases usability along with foldable feet/lip for greater portability.

However, it's entirely made of plastic and it does seems a bit cheap especially when used with larger and/or heavier tablets because it tends to wobble or flex a bit similar to most other all-plastic stands as well. It's somewhat reasonably priced at $30 for what it provides and its overall build quality, usability, versatility, and performance. Your mileage might vary.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy, Subtle, Ease of Use
Reviewed in the United States on June 28, 2024
Colour Name: Milky WhiteVerified Purchase
So pleased to have found this sturdy white stand by Omotom. The price point cannot be beat. I received it in one day in a nice box that kept it from being scratched or damaged. I've already decided to purchase a few more today. That said, here is what I appreciate most: it holds my heavy 12.9 IPad very securely. It has a nice grey silicone mat on the back which keeps the device from sliding side to side with a flip up arm that secures the bottom of the device as well. There is not a single burr or sharp point and is easy to clean. I can switch my iPad safely and quickly from landscape to vertical use without drama. It works nicely for my large iPhone as well. It is extremely adjustable both height wise and in super low profile mode with nice, secure tilting options. It seems to have sturdy internal hinges that make those adjustments easy to do and secure. For me, the ease of use is essential. This would be great for anyone that has had difficulty using other stands that have spring loaded sides, long arms and several hand cranks. I have an expensive, highly rated stand just like that. I don't use because it is a hassle and hard on my hands and I just don't trust the sturdiness of it. Now onto aesthetics: can you say, "not an eyesore?" This stand fits the attractiveness bill, too. I have a beautifully designed office and this does not change my desired look in any way. That is important in my line of business. It has a small footprint for portability and I see myself traveling with it. I believe the practicality, attractiveness and sturdy construction will make this it a perfect solution for a great many people. Looking forward to the possibility of a few more neutral colors being manufactured. White is perfect for my needs, but may not be for everyone. Long review short ;) I highly, highly recommend!

I will add pictures shortly and update this review after several months of use.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy and convenient
Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2024
Colour Name: BlackVine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
I use my tablet for a lot of writing, but I don’t always like having a keyboard backing attached to it. This stand has made it really convenient for the times when I don’t have a keyboard backing or keyboard case attached to my tablet but still need to do some typing. This way, I don’t have to switch out my case. It’s easy to just put my tablet up on this stand, connect a separate keyboard, and I’m all set to go.

The stand is very small and compact, making it pretty easy to store just about anywhere. It would be easy to travel with, although I prefer using it at home. It is sturdy enough to hold my iPad Air without me worrying about it falling and it has a little lip in the front as well as some rubbery material to keep the tablet from slipping around. The height is nice and can easily be adjusted. And, because the height is higher than a usual tablet+keyboard height, my neck isn’t killing me when I’m done wiht a day of typing. Another big plus.

The OMOTON Foldable Tablet Stand is a valuable addition to my daily farm routine, especially during lunch breaks when I catch up on reading via my Kindle app. Designed for stability, it holds my Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 securely, despite a minor unevenness where the left side sits slightly lower than the right. One of the standout features is the cutout at the bottom, which allows me to charge the tablet conveniently—an essential benefit for those times when the battery runs low unexpectedly. The stand's collapsibility and lightweight yet sturdy build make it perfect for portable use around the farm. It's great for reducing neck strain and keeping my tablet accessible and charged, enhancing my productivity and comfort throughout the day.
