The thermometer provides accurate reading. It's pretty straightforward. You put it in your mouth, under your arms or in your butt. I chose under my arm. I don't have a fever to test it with yet but will update in the future if that happens. But it accurately told my temp was normal.It comes with a lovely hard case which I appreciate. It seems to use a small cell battery which I haven't seen in a long time. I assume you can still buy that to replace the battery.The one thing is that you have to hold.the power button to turn it off, otherwise it just keeps blinking and doesn't turn off by itself which can probably drain the battery fast.

Looks good so far! After getting 3 different thermometers at 3 different pharmacies and having to return them all due to not being accurate, I am so glad to finally have an accurate thermometer!
The digital print could be larger but I can still read it well as the display is bright. I would give this one 5*!

This is a standard battery-operated thermometer; I've used several over the past few decades.

Pros:
1. One button operation: Push the button, put it in your mouth, wait for the beep, record the temperature, push the botton off.
2. This one comes with a hard plastic storage case, which is a nice touch.

Cons:
1. I'm not sick, but it measured my temperature this morning as 95.1, which the internet tells me is "mild hypothermia" and says if it is 95.0, it is true hypothermia and I should seek immediate medical assistance. Yes, it's January, but I'm fully dressed (including baselayers and socks) and I am in the house. So I think that the thermometer is not accurate; but I will double-check it tomorrow when I have an already scheduled doctor's appointment. Will update the review then.

I purchased this thermometer because it said C/F switchable. The instruction sheet indicated that was determined by the manufacturer. I live in Canada but I prefer using the F measurement if there is an option. Why can’t the description on Amazon be clear?

Works as intended. Recently got sick and needed a thermometer to give an accurate temperature reading to the doctor while at home. This is great to have handy at home to get an accurate reading, it does take awhile to get an accurate reading as it heats up to your body and is not instantaneous. Very easy to use, just press the button to turn it on and then put in the desired area and it will beep once it gets an accurate reading. Noting it states it's intended use is oral, armpit or rectal.

It comes in a clear case to be able to keep it clean and stores easily.

This small and handy digital oral thermometer works well and is easy to read. It's one of those items that you rarely use but are so happy to have in the medicine cabinet when you do need one. It isn't expensive so having a couple on hand is always a good idea. The green colour is pleasant to the eye as well. The response is fast enough and so far the accuracy seems perfect.
