This infrared forehead thermometer just simply works. It runs on 2xAAA batteries, which are included. Of note, it does not support rechargeable batteries.

Using it is also very straightforward. After turning it on, you can either use it for forehead temperature, or objects. In both cases, you just need to keep the thermometer 1 to 2cm away from what you want to take the temperature of.

Overall, temperatures do seem to be pretty close to reality. I've tried with objects all around the house, including inside my refrigerator, and it all made sense. As for the forehead, its readings are consistent, but I'd still recommend taking a few measurement to make sure, because you can still get a difference of one or two Celsius decimals depending on the readings. Considering you instantly get a result though, this is much more practical than traditional thermometers, who aren't perfect either.

Overall, it's a very convenient thermometer if you need results fast. I do wish the readings were a little more accurate, but in the vast majority of cases, it should be more than enough.
