When you are buying a product on Amazon and it doesn't says sold and shipped by Amazon. Please make sure you're buying from a legit store on Amazon and not from a random reseller and the reviews you see don't really matter.Purchased Cerave Vitamin C from a store on Amazon. Had positive reviews. First red flag, the box the product came in was very crumpled, was skeptical but decided to use it since the product was sealed and didn't appear to be tampered with.Once I broke the seal and applied the product, it had a weird smell, as I have previously used the product in the past and knew it was scent free this raised big alarm bells in my head. I had a bad reaction using the product, from stinging in my eyes to a burning sensation on my skin.From the photo there is a massive difference between both products. The left was from a store on Amazon while the right was directly sold and shipped by Amazon.

I’ve bought this product from Walmart before, so I know what to expect, and this serum is not it. My past serum had a truer orange-y smell, while this one smells completely different and more manufactured. This serum is also less orange in color, and the tip of the serum doesn’t oxidize to a darker orange color like my past one did when you squeeze some out the next night. Finally, the packaging is completely different and I know Cerave may have changed to a new look, but the cap doesn’t even work for my serum and is terrible quality. Overall, it feels cheap and wrong. I don’t think that Cerave could have diminished their quality this badly and quickly, hence why I think it’s a fake. I’d like a refund!
