This was my first modification of anything ever. My limit to a screwdriver is putting together ikea furniture when I move. Never opened or even looked inside an electronic in my life so what the hell was I thinking?
This mod was the most exhilarating thing I've ever done in my life and I've given birth. I don't know where I shook worse, being on the fent and sliced open during the c section or removing the screen from the steamdeck 💀
Point is, like birth, it was definitely worth it! My steamdeck is gorgeous and for added detail I went ahead and inked the buttons and indent lines with gold alcohol ink, which has held up fantastically through dozens of gameplay since.
