Very nice machine, make sure to let it sit 24 hours once you get it before you use it. That’s in the instructions. Makes ice very quick. It’s nice and compact. If you don’t have a lot of counterspace. Very satisfied. It does not make real big ice cubes, but that’s what I was looking for.

This is a great product. I highly suggest that you use it to make your ice cubes then put them in a container or bucket. Once that is full and the ice maker is empty of water then unplug it until you need it again. The reason I suggest this is that first off the motor gets really hot and I can see it burning out faster if it constanstly runs, also the water/cubes start to smell/go stale after a bit and it tastes funky.

Also leave the lid open after you are using it if you unplug it.

Otherwise it is fantastic and I am very happy with it..

It takes up a lot of space but it’s totally worth the cost. I haven’t had the need for ice since I’ve bought this thing. It constantly is pumping out just the perfect amount. You can also freeze some in the baggie. After the fact keep yourself going so you don’t have to constantly run your machine.

Received and was full of mold in behind mechanism, in reservoir and in ice basket. Ok fine, cleaned and sanitized from the mold. Let it sit for 24 + hours. Filled with water, “making ice” light stayed on for a few minutes, seemed like the motor was running and then all lights started flashing, manual stated either ice stuck in motor, or motor not working. Well, it hadn’t made any ice… unplugged and tried again 3 times. Bad experience all around. I loved the teal color, but I will buy a name brand going forward.

Shipped safely, looks well built not cheap, very easy to use and makes great fast ice! First batch came out shaped right, frozen perfect and I have zero issues to complain about so far. If something comes up after a while I will update but I would definitely recommend this ice maker if you are in the market for a table top one for sure. Oh it's not super heavy so can take with you anywhere like camping etc. I bought the teal/blue colored one it's exactly as pictured.

We had to return ours unfortunately as it only worked for about a week (never at full capacity) and then dropped down to 1 ice cube every cycle. We were able to return during the return period- so, we didn’t have to deal with a warranty or anything like that. We did purchase the warranty on it…it says you will get an email…we didn’t…checked all folders, searched the date and time, key words etc. nothing. We didn’t end up reaching out about that since we were still OK for a standard return and honestly for the $11 or whatever it cost it wasn’t worth it for me. But, double check you get your warranty right away! Anyways, it was super cute, the colour was perfect. Doesn’t keep the ice- you have to transfer to the freezer or it will just melt. But, if it had kept working, we would have kept it! Not a high end ice maker, but got the job done and was so adorable.

I bought this in April 2023 and the sensor no longer works. The ice maker starts production, but then never makes any ice and the sensor says it is full… which it’s not. I was happy with the item until this happened. I’ve cleaned the sensor, unplugged it, etc., but nothing corrected the problem. I contacted customer service and was told 2 days, but it’s been 4 with no reply, including a follow up email from me.

Update 7/15/24 - Received a few more back and forths with the company. They say that the sensor cannot be replaced (after first saying it was an accessory.. to which I said it's not because it's necessary for the maker to work, but I digress), so basically, I'm SOL on this maker. However, page 13 of their user manual states:

Limited two-year warranty
This warranty is available to consumers only. You are a consumer if you own a kumio ice maker that was purchased at retail for personal, family or household use. Except as otherwise required under applicable law, this warranty is not available to retailers or other commercial purchasers or owners.

We warrant that your kumio ice maker will be free of defects in
materials and workmanship under normal home use for 2 years from the date of original purchase. If your kumio ice maker is prove to be defective (Non Man-damaged) within the warranty period, we will offer free replacement or reimburse.

Thank you for using our products. Please contact (their email address) or Customer Service Online if you have any questions.

So, they are not abiding by THEIR OWN WARRANTY information in the manual and said in an e mail that it is 1 year for the full machine, 2nd year is for parts only. Sorry, that's not what it says in the manual! At this point, I just want a refund
