Bought this for the home office to use on desktop. Overall the station worked as I intended - charging various devices including a Surface Book 2, cell phones, smart watches, and other small devices. It was also handy to have the extra power sockets to power other accessories.
The unit is VERY well built! The power cord is so hefty as if the station is built to charge an electric car! That's why this is not exactly convenient to pack for a trip. (Moreover, the manufacturer specifically indicated in reply to an email enquiry that this should not be used in 220V circuits.)
I did encounter a problem with power distribution from time to time. The station uses a logic control circuit to limit the power to each of the USB port, and the manual does clearly indicate the power distribution when multiple devices are plugged in. What I found, however, is the power distribution does not appear to reflect the demand of the device being plugged in. For example, when I have the laptop plugged in, and then add a cellphone to the circuit, the power delivery to the laptop will drop dramatically to almost trickle charge. This will reverse if I unplug the laptop and plug it back to the station with the cellphone still plugged in, then suddenly the laptop is given a much higher current. This is annoying at times.
Other than this qualm, I am pretty happy with this charging station.

Love the look of this unit, and slowly been converting over my charging bricks and stations to UGreen from Anker. I’ve been very happy with the UGreen products so far. This is no different.

Since UGreen makes a few different versions of this station, It’s important for you to add up the wattage of what products you’ll be keeping plugged in or use most often together while charging.

For the device itself, It looks clean, feels really solid and well made. Much larger than I expected from the photos. And the power cable is pretty thick, I assume 14 Gauge? More than enough for the wattage it can pull, albeit a shorter cord than I’d like to have seen. Six 6 isn’t short, But it’s not long either if your desk is far away from a outlet.

The device stays really cool, even when pumping out close to the 100 watts it can provide. And the power button on the unit is really nice! Even makes a sound when you click it off. And a white light is on when the station is running.

As for the, not really bad but things I’d like to see improved.
1. I’d like to have seen another USB-C port on this 100 watt model. The USB-A port isn’t really useful when people paying this much for a station will likely already be using USB-C.
2. The plug on the top of this unit isn’t grounded??? Why? For what reason? It’s the easiest to get to right away. It needed to have a ground.
3. I wish the power button also made a sound when you turned it on.

Overall, Really happy with this device, it’s small enough to sit nicely on the desk, while taking up less space than a power strip. Looks far nicer as well. And despite my dislikes and wants, It’s a really nice power station that is almost worth the money. I would say, Get it on a sale personally. But anyone would be happy with it if they bought it.

Still moving over all my power needs to UGreen products. But I will say, Ankers packaging is better and feels more premium than UGreens stuff right now. And it’s not like these products are cheap…. That said, if the product is well made then that’s ok.
