Very low. Med is dead. 10 dollars headphone sound way better.
It is comfortable in the ear but apart from that don't waste your money. It's very low. The bass it light. No med range whatsoever, this is my first in ear but I know there is better out there. I need back my money. It's a waste.

I purchased this to use with my cell phone. I currently own a set of Sennheiser CX300II's but it doesn't have a mic. You get a generous set of accessories which adds a lot of value. It comes with two sets of cables. One with and one without a mic. The cables are stiffer, thicker and more tangle resistant than the CX300II's and one would presume more durable. It comes with 6 set's of silicone tips and one Comply memory foam tip, plus a 1/8 to 1/4 inch adapter and a large case. The large case is necessary because the stiff memory wire adds a lot of bulk to the earpiece.

The ergonomics are a little bit weird with the memory wire. I watched the YouTube video before attempting to set mine up. This for me is both a plus and a minus. On the plus side, once it is setup it is very comfortable and stable and makes sense since these monitors were designed for musicians on stage. On the downside, they are more fiddly, to put on/take off and are bulkier, requiring a big IEM case.

In terms of sound, the M6 is mostly balanced. I find it has strong deep bass, similar to the CX300II's, while not exactly flat, is fun to listen to. As with all earphones, you MUST get a proper seal; otherwise, the sound will be tinny and thin. I didn't find the treble quite as detailed or emphasized as the CX300II's, but it wasn't objectionable either. Individual vocals came across strong, but multipart harmonies tended to bleed together and, didn't have the clarity and separation I know is there. To be fair, the detail's I'm talking about I hear through my full sized planer magnetic headphones which are in a different league altogether; however, I'm just talking about the resolving power of the M6II's against CD quality Flac files which for testing, I used my Emotiva Stealth DC-1 Dac/Headphone amp instead of my cell phone. Comparing them to the slightly less expensive CX300II's, the Sennheiser has a slight edge with slightly better treble, separation and vocal detail. As a side note, these things are not as efficient as the CX300II's and require more volume if that is important to you.

So why the five stars? For $65 CDN, you are getting a great sounding IEM with a lot of value. In terms of overall sound quality, they are slightly less detailed in highs and midrange than the CX300II's, which was the price/performance leader a while back, but I believe they are discontinued now. The cords are removable/replaceable, which is relatively rare in this price bracket. If you damage the cord on the Sennheiser, you must replace the entire earphone...which brings us to the Lifetime Replacement Program. If you ever damage or lose your M6 beyond the warranty period, you can get a replacement pair at half price from Mee Audio. Although I've not used this yet, people who are hard on their equipment may find this beneficial.

Update 9/26/2018: I'm not a big believer in burn in, but after 50 hours as recommended by the manufacturer, the sound has opened up and there is an audible improvement. The vocals have increased detail and separation. I now rate the M6 slightly better than the CX300II. I prefer the vocals and the bass which is deeper and tighter. The CX300II's have slightly more treble, the bass is strong but sounds bloomy in comparison.

First off, if you are looking for ear buds for your phone, go and buy ear buds for your phone. These are very neutral, slightly sibilant IEM's. These are not coloured for MP3's and muddy, one note bass.
That said, in my studio I find them very comfortable, easy to put on and take off. I only use the memory foam tips, I hate silicone and it's doesn't isolate sound very well, so I've ordered a few 3-packs of memory foam, noise isolating tips too. Silicone is a lot more durable but personal preference leads me to the Comply Foam Isolation T-200 tips.

As I said a little sibilance, though not really excessive colour, and fitting them correctly is imperative. The bass response is clean and musical, not the one-note bass found in so much of todays music, designed for the deaf or people who can't tell the difference between an MP3 and a raw file.

If you are into studio work/engineering and don't want the high cost of multi-driver IEM's, these fit the bill AND budget perfectly. Some very minor sacrifices with brightness but not overbearing or tiring. mids are clean and accurate, as is low end. I seek accuracy and detail, not colour, accuracy is exactly what these monitors are designed for, If you are looking for Skull Candy coloured bass and over emphasized mids, which are perceived as high end, these are not for you. IF you want soundstage, detail and accuracy in a 'monitor' these are an excellent mid level option. You can always add ear molds too, which can be swapped to other IEM's if you ever upgrade.

When these arrived, I was around 70% expecting that my problem with the first generation m6 pros would still be there, namely, the (to my ears) piercing highs. So when I put these in and played a few songs that gave me issues on the originals, I was pleased to hear that my initial issues with the M6 Pros appear to be largely solved.

The value of these is again, excellent, as it was with the original M6 pros. I was using the "AKG-tuned" earphones that came with my S9, which I actually really liked, but inevitably, the cable failed because the lack of a 90 degree connector means a lot more strain on the cable connections. With these, this isn't an issue for a couple reasons. First, a 90 degree connector! And second the cables are removable and replaceable, one of which is already included. It comes with a formidable array of tips, including pricier Comply tips if that's your thing, a 3.5 to 6.3 mm adapter (presumably for those who use musical equipment), all packaged in a very nice carrying case.

I also found that the fit on these is also much better for me than the previous generation. While I often had trouble getting the first generation ones on on my left ear, these appear to fit a lot more easily into my outer ear. Your mileage may vary. The over the ear wire certainly takes some getting used to if you usually use wire-down earphones, but it solves one of the key problems with wire-down earphones, which is when said wire pulls your earphones down during use. In terms of comfort, the constant contact with the wire makes these not as comfy as wire-down designs, but overall, I'm able to use these for a few hours at a time without feeling too much discomfort.

The passive noise isolation is quite good, and I would assume be better with the foam tips. I used these on public transit and much of the noisy environment was blocked out. I'm also very pleased with the sound quality. After a little bit of time to acclimate to them, I would rate these as excellent sounding earphones. In reality, I would rather rate the sound at 4.5 stars, rather than 4.

To my ears, the bass is more prominent in these compared to the first generation. They are not boomy at all, but are well controlled and have a nice kick to them. The mids are a bit recessed and the highs are still there and are still quite bright, just not as nearly as much as before. Clarity is definitely a strong suit of these IEMs, with clear differentiation between instruments. I've been enjoying these with all genres of music, but I actually find that I enjoy them the most on different kinds of electronic music. The bass presence is full and rich, but not overwhelming. The highs and mids remain clear, crisp and sparkly, all in all, making for a pretty great electronic music listening experience. Other genres of music (jazz, rock, pop and classical) all are handled very competently as well.

I bought these IEMs because I wanted to give them another chance. There was lots I loved about the original M6 Pros, but the highs ultimately prevented me from using them. With these, although the highs are still a little bright for me, I think I can live with that, given the host of other very positive things about these. A combination of accessories, durability/build quality and good sound gets these a hearty recommendation from me.

Edit/update: it's now been a couple of months of almost daily use (at work, on transit) and I do have one issue, namely, that I've had durability issues with both cables included originally. In each case, I had sound start to cut in and out. Fiddling around with it would make it go away, but conversely, having it fiddled the wrong way would cause the sound to cut out.

Fortunately, I bought these IEMs with this scenario in mind and the cables are relatively inexpensive (compared to having to buy new earphones) and they fixed the issue (i.e. it wasn't a driver issue). However, it has only been a few months. I hope this isn't a recurring issue as having to spend 15-20 dollars on cables every quarter would eventually be quite costly.

Nonetheless, they are still a great set of IEMs. The sound has mellowed out somewhat since I first reviewed, much to my pleasure (which I'm not sure if that's me being subjectively acclimated to them or if there is some sort of physical burn in effect). Still would highly recommend.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excelente qualidade porém com detalhes

The product itself is okay but I was still disappointed by the fit and audio quality. So I wanted to return it. Turns out you can’t. So BEWARE: once you open it, you’ll have to keep it.
This isn’t clear up front so you’ll have no idea. Amazon also does nothing in this case, which I was quite surprised about.

So that’s a big fat one star for this seller.
