I totally understand that packaging can be damaged, but to be opened and retaped?How can there be any guarantee the correct amount of bags are in there, as the box has very clearly been opened from the end.Not happy this has found its way to be delivered, or passed quality check, but I need them ASAP, so unable to send back.On a plus note (and the reason for 3 stars), is that they arrived on time and the bags seem okay inside, though there does seem to be less than there should be now I've opened it properly.

I'd say we can always trust Ziploc to have good quality plastic bags for freezing.

My favorite life hack is to process and cut fresh onions all at once and then freeze them into bags. Their flavor remains unchanged after thawing and cooking, and it works as an easy pre-prep for meals.

I never actually cleaned a Ziploc bag, though I have reused them many times.

When I travel, I like to put socks, etc. together and bundle them into large Ziplocs and seal them. I started doing this after my clothing was ruined by some kind of fluid that was leaking into the luggage container from the airplane, and which the airline refused to compensate me for, claiming the protection of some international treaty.

I also use them for freezing food.
