About the Author

Elin Hilderbrand has spent Christmas Stroll weekend on Nantucket since 1998. She enjoys attending the annual Festival of Trees preview party at the Nantucket Whaling Museum and the Friends of Nantucket Public Schools Holiday House Tour. Her other favorite holiday traditions include making cheese fondue and decorating the tree with the help of her three children. Winter Stroll is her sixteenth novel and the second book in the Winter Street trilogy.

I’m loving the unfolding of the story of the Quinn family. I think I may have enjoyed the first installment just a little bit more than this one, but it was still a really great read. This book felt like it’s setting up for the next one. Though a previously mentioned character makes a more prominent appearance, there aren’t any new faces. There are a few new plot developments, but mostly, the novel pushed the original story forward just a bit. Excited to dive into the next one and see what happens with the Quinn family!

I have never been to Nantucket Island, but I feel like I have by reading these stories, although the author admits that she does make up some places, such as the Winter Street Inn.
