2. "How do I manage my voice purchasing settings?"You can easily access and manage your voice purchase settings. In the Alexa App, navigate to "Settings", select "Account Settings", then select "Voice Purchasing". When shopping with Alexa, you can choose to create a voice code, where Alexa will ask you to say a 4-digit code before completing a purchase. Learn more about voice shopping settings
here.
3. "Which payment method and delivery address does Alexa use when I place an order?"Alexa will use the default payment method and delivery address from your Amazon account.
4. "How does Alexa choose the products to offer?"Alexa helps you by suggesting the product or products customers frequently purchase and enjoy, and draws on many signals to find the most relevant offer for your request. If you haven't bought an item before, Alexa may suggest an item highlighted as Amazon's Choice, or another item popular for that item request. You can always choose the products and brands you enjoy, and Alexa will learn your preferences over time.
5. "What if I order something by mistake?"You can ask Alexa to cancel your order. You can also cancel your order on the Your Orders page on the Amazon website or in your Amazon Shopping App. If you don't realize the mistake in time to cancel, you can request a return through the
Online Returns Center.
6. "If I don't want Alexa to say the title of the item I ordered when I ask for an order update, what should I do?"
By default, Alexa will only say or show titles for items you've ordered in delivery updates if the item has not been marked as a gift or may be a gift during major holidays. If you would like Alexa to stop saying or showing titles for items you've ordered, visit the
Alexa Notification Settings page, scroll down to the section called "Say or show item titles", and then disable "For items in delivery updates".
7. "What are the notifications Alexa can send me?"
Alexa can notify you when your package is delivered, and Alexa may also provide a suggestion to reorder an item from your purchase history. You can manage your notification preferences
here.
