Exactly what you need for PS3 capture
If you are buying random splitters gambling on whether it will work with PS3 capture, this is it. I am able to capture PS3 with HDMI using my Avermedia Live Gamer 4K GC573. I was looking for a splitter with some very specific demands and this one checks all boxes.+ Strips HDCP for PS3 HDMI capture. Avermedia driver (RECentral) needs HDCP Detection disabled first.++ No external power needed. Less cables, less clutter. Still handles 1080p 60fps in RGB24 without issue.+ Minimalistic, low profile, stealthy design. Front is an embossed HDMI logo, back is clean. All black unit with plastic construction.+ Smallest footprint possible. It's quite compact and thin.++ Affordable. Bought at $19 CAD, however there are currently two sellers knocking the price down as low as $16 CAD.+ Comes with a "high speed" HDMI cable and a USB A to Micro cable for power which I opted to not use.Tested with OBS and Amarec. Capture for Twitch/live streaming, local recording, playing from a preview window, etc.
