I bought this item 1 month ago.

It was easy to install and the mount is nicely designed.

The setup with the app is super easy, just scan the QR code and follow the steps.

I use it at the cottage and mounted it at the peak of my roof so I can have a panoramic view whenever I want to see what is going on. It has worked flawlessly for a month now and the night vision is good, the resolution is good and I have no downside.

When the power goes out, the camera will start up easily once power returns with no interventions.

Great purchase and great value.

The best and only true motion activated and tracking camera on the market. We purchased this because we needed something that would track and record in our yard.

Works absolutely perfect, super fast and smooth interface and set up and awesome night vision not to mention the added security of the optional on board SD card storage incase wifi failure happens.

4 star product due to the fact that it's pretty much useless without a paid subscription PER camera. But with the subscription it's a very good security device.

No stranger to Wyze cams been using them for years, overall very happy with their performance & reliability throughout the years. Decided I wanted to replace one of my five outdoor V3's with a Pan V3 for better area coverage. Worked a treat even swearing the video quality is somewhat superior to the std V3 it replaced, day and night. Ended up being so Impressed we decided to purchase another which will replace a second outdoor V3. Although prices have steadily increased still think Wyze provides the best bang for the buck.

I have one WYZE camera already and purchased this one to add for my dog inside the home. I figured it would be better than what I already have due to the tracking of motion with this one.
First off, the motion detection was not good even at 100% sensitivity.
Secondly, it would stop watching the motion if it did catch it even if the motion was still happening. It would turn in the complete opposite direction and turn the camera down as if going into off mode. Then it wouldn’t detect any further motion after that unless it was right up against the lense between the camera and base.
Thirdly, when I wanted to shut it down and off it would not face the camera downward into the base at all. It just shut down and stayed up.
I called Amazon for product support and they put me through to WYZE customer support and the call was disconnected.
I called Amazon back and was not going through another 1/2 hour of hassle because I had already done troubleshooting and reset the camera at least 4 times to no avail. I asked to return and have a refund but this is a complete hassle also at the moment due to a few reasons that are personal.
Maybe I got a defective camera and that is a small chance but I am not willing to take a chance on another one of these for the following reason.
The sound that the camera makes while following motion is very loud on playback. This takes away from being able to hear what is going on clearly. It is also annoying to listen to.
I also don’t want to deal with another problem in case I have the same issues on top of the annoying sounds.

Got this for motion sensor facility for our yard. Set it up and left it on. Tried panning, zooming etc and checking the imagery. We had high wind and got notifications of movement chiming on our phones every 5 minutes 😡. So… I decreased sensitivity. Then later, when I left the house in my truck (Ram1500, no small beast) it didn’t pick me up at all as I reversed out in front of it and drove away - great, .. same when I returned. What use is motion detection that can’t pick up a truck driving into your yard!?. So upon returning I bumped the sensitivity up a bit. Now it’s going off every 3-4 minutes again because of rain!! 🤬. So… have it go off every 3-4 minutes because it sees rain drops. Or…. Switch it off, then wonder what the purpose was in getting it in the first place! Very very irritating! Burglars take note… tackle houses with these systems when it’s raining. The owners will either have them switched off or ignore activations as false alarms!! Pity, it’s otherwise good imagery and zoom and pan facility, but the functionality is deeply flawed.

I liked it because it was very inexpensive and it was easy set up. When you’re setting up the camera though, I ran into a bit of an issue where it said take a picture with your camera of the QR code which was on my phone and not being very savvy couldn’t figure out how to take it with my phone. It turned out the actual camera I bought was the camera to take pic of QR code. Other than that piece of cake. Successful.

Me sorprendió gratamente, la tengo para mi habitación ya que comparto departamento con otras personas y sin lugar a dudas ha sido una excelente inversión, tengo casi un mes con ella con un uso prácticamente de 12 horas al día de grabación y la memoria que compré para ella aún no va ni por la mitad. La calidad de la cámara es excelente. Lo único negativo que le encuentro es que sí puede llegar a ser molesto el ruido que hace cuando te sigue con la cámara, pero si la tienes fija hacia un punto ese no sería ningún inconveniente.

This is an excellent camera that give everything I need at a very reasonable price. I am especially impressed with the night vision. It was very bright and clear. Given the 1080p resolution, face is not recognizable unless very close, but the overall picture quality is still excellent. The motion detection works really well, just al little too sensitive but it is adjustable. The app takes little time to figure out all the functions but it works. Plan to buy another one for the backyard.

I'm gonna install like a thousand of these. Super fast/easy install and setup, you can likely get them mounted and operating in ten minutes each if you're so inclined and just a tiny bit handy. Maybe an hour or two for a difficult install location including wall penetration and caulking for the power lead. The included power cables (and longer ones marketed specifically for these cameras) are flat cables thin enough that I was able to repeatedly shut them into my window frames and lock the windows without noticeable resistance and without even nicking the wire jacket. YMMV there but if you're using cables longer than those included then you can test your fit no-risk with the included cables! Separate cables as long as you could need are dirt cheap too, they only need to carry USB power so no data leads necessary. Solder up your own custom janks easily if ya want & know how, I'll be doing that with the rest of my Wyze installs so I can hide easier-to-pull two-conductor wire in the walls behind the cams. Totally optional though. There are so many options. You can do this, your grandmother can do this, a particularly ham-fisted orangutan could do this.

I'm currently panning and tilting one of my cameras from 1,120 geodesic miles away and watching it respond to my commands with no more than 200ms total latency per command, I think I can fire off around five or six commands in a second. Looks good in day, streetlight, and pitch black conditions.

IDK what their subscription service includes yet but A. You don't need it, I've been using these cams no issues for a few days before I bought the subscription tonight, and B. Not very expensive. The "unlimited cameras" option seems very fair given the fact that I'm about to have these things monitoring every square nanometer of multiple properties. I'm hoping the AI facial recognition can identify deer faces lol.

Probably worth going for quality/endurance even if it means sacrificing capacity with the μSD cards for these things. With factory settings, they write a LOT of data. Dropped significantly since I made a few adjustments, but the first day on factory settings I think they recorded like 15-20GB each.

Had a small issue but customer service resolved it about as fast as I could possibly exchange emails with their representative, even accomodating an unusual request probably outside the umbrella of their warranty terms. Flawless service.

Tl;Dr great product and great customer service despite being really really affordable. VERY easy install and setup.
