I bought this item 1 month ago.

It was easy to install and the mount is nicely designed.

The setup with the app is super easy, just scan the QR code and follow the steps.

I use it at the cottage and mounted it at the peak of my roof so I can have a panoramic view whenever I want to see what is going on. It has worked flawlessly for a month now and the night vision is good, the resolution is good and I have no downside.

When the power goes out, the camera will start up easily once power returns with no interventions.

Great purchase and great value.

The best and only true motion activated and tracking camera on the market. We purchased this because we needed something that would track and record in our yard.

Works absolutely perfect, super fast and smooth interface and set up and awesome night vision not to mention the added security of the optional on board SD card storage incase wifi failure happens.

4 star product due to the fact that it's pretty much useless without a paid subscription PER camera. But with the subscription it's a very good security device.

I liked it because it was very inexpensive and it was easy set up. When you’re setting up the camera though, I ran into a bit of an issue where it said take a picture with your camera of the QR code which was on my phone and not being very savvy couldn’t figure out how to take it with my phone. It turned out the actual camera I bought was the camera to take pic of QR code. Other than that piece of cake. Successful.

Wyze Cam Pan v3 is NOT compatible with 'Cam Plus Lite' subscription

Did not like many things of the Cam Pan v3. Most of all, the fact I cannot use this device on my legacy 'Cam Plus Lite' subscription was HUGE.

This device requires a newer subscription for features (like viewing recordings in app, no cooldown period) and I am not prepared to purchase a new subscription for this device. Without subscription, you would only get a screen shot in the app and would have to go further into it to view the video at the time so long as you install an MicroSD card.

I did not find the picture quality (brightness, color) as advertised to be that much better then the v2 I was going to replace it with.

I will go back to the Cam Pan v2, which is a lot simpler to work on the app. v3 I found was more difficult to work with and not as quick and simple to use as a v2.

The v3 upgrade from a v2 is a waste of money. A real deal breaker if you have the 'Cam Plus Lite' subscription (which will NOT work with a v3)

No stranger to Wyze cams been using them for years, overall very happy with their performance & reliability throughout the years. Decided I wanted to replace one of my five outdoor V3's with a Pan V3 for better area coverage. Worked a treat even swearing the video quality is somewhat superior to the std V3 it replaced, day and night. Ended up being so Impressed we decided to purchase another which will replace a second outdoor V3. Although prices have steadily increased still think Wyze provides the best bang for the buck.

It connects super easily with the app and I LOVE the fact you can put your own SD card inside to save all your video without having to pay for any cloud subscription service to view video! It has clear picture in both light and dark and the ability to pan, tilt and zoom are seamless and awesome! I also love the "tracking" feature that will follow someone around the room. It certainly gives a sense of the "someone is watching me" feeling to any would-be thieves or uninvited guests! Buy it!

I'm gonna install like a thousand of these. Super fast/easy install and setup, you can likely get them mounted and operating in ten minutes each if you're so inclined and just a tiny bit handy. Maybe an hour or two for a difficult install location including wall penetration and caulking for the power lead. The included power cables (and longer ones marketed specifically for these cameras) are flat cables thin enough that I was able to repeatedly shut them into my window frames and lock the windows without noticeable resistance and without even nicking the wire jacket. YMMV there but if you're using cables longer than those included then you can test your fit no-risk with the included cables! Separate cables as long as you could need are dirt cheap too, they only need to carry USB power so no data leads necessary. Solder up your own custom janks easily if ya want & know how, I'll be doing that with the rest of my Wyze installs so I can hide easier-to-pull two-conductor wire in the walls behind the cams. Totally optional though. There are so many options. You can do this, your grandmother can do this, a particularly ham-fisted orangutan could do this.

I'm currently panning and tilting one of my cameras from 1,120 geodesic miles away and watching it respond to my commands with no more than 200ms total latency per command, I think I can fire off around five or six commands in a second. Looks good in day, streetlight, and pitch black conditions.

IDK what their subscription service includes yet but A. You don't need it, I've been using these cams no issues for a few days before I bought the subscription tonight, and B. Not very expensive. The "unlimited cameras" option seems very fair given the fact that I'm about to have these things monitoring every square nanometer of multiple properties. I'm hoping the AI facial recognition can identify deer faces lol.

Probably worth going for quality/endurance even if it means sacrificing capacity with the μSD cards for these things. With factory settings, they write a LOT of data. Dropped significantly since I made a few adjustments, but the first day on factory settings I think they recorded like 15-20GB each.

Had a small issue but customer service resolved it about as fast as I could possibly exchange emails with their representative, even accomodating an unusual request probably outside the umbrella of their warranty terms. Flawless service.

Tl;Dr great product and great customer service despite being really really affordable. VERY easy install and setup.
