Arrived early, always nice :) - easy to install as you just plug it in. drivers are already there. bandwidth speeds are as advertised both on 2.4ghz and 5ghz.
For anyone not getting high speeds, I found that the default/factory device 'Wireless Mode' was set to 801.11a/b on 2.4ghz. So you need to go into Control Panel, Device Manager, Network Adapter, then double-click on your USB network device to bring up the General Properties tab, go to Advanced and click on Wireless Mode, click on the Value drop-down menu and set your USB device to 801.11a/n/ac - it should be able to get the highest speed available from your router/ISP.
Don't play games online so I don't know if it lags but fast.com gives Latency as 2ms (unloaded) and 15ms (loaded). Upload and download speeds were equal and met 801.11ac standards.
Good value. I'd buy it again.

I recently completed a Windows 11 PC build for lab space on the lower level of the house. Initial network connectivity was wired but this involved having the network cable cross the floor. That invited snagging and tripping over the thing. This UGREEN device has proved the perfect solution (the MOBO does not otherwise have Wi-Fi). When the device is first inserted a driver installation pop-up appears. Just click the button and the rest is automatic. In my case, the device did not see the broadcast network ID as described in the manual so, went into Windows Control Panel and entered the network name manually along with password. I then re-inserted the UGREEN device and it immediately connected. Mission accomplished. You may or may not have to establish connectivity in this way but keep it in mind. Connectivity needs to be established only once. After that it's automatic. The device uses a "Realtek" chipset so you know it's quality. Sensitivity appears excellent. It lists other Wi-Fi hotspots up and down the street, through walls, floors and in below-grade location. Great product. Recommended.

I have a nearly decade old desktop box that virtually always runs Linux. The included mini-CD with drivers includes source code for a Linux driver and a script to compile and install it, but it is built against an out of date kernel and headers - it won’t compile. I haven’t found one on the ugreen website that will. It also does not work with the now mainline kernel modules for that type of controller.

Okay, the main reason I got this was that that computer only has 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, while most of my devices are on the 5 GHz band. I also have an Ethernet cable on the box to the router on the other side of the desk, so it isn’t as if I am offline. The box also has its original Windows 7 partition which I hadn’t used for over two years, and if I do, it is for only a few hours at most. A month ago, I did go into it primarily to install this. It wouldn’t work. Windows also looked online for drivers, but there isn’t anything for Windows 7 that would work with it in its searches. Maybe there had been earlier, but those days have passed.

Newer computers, like my Raspberry Pi, come with the choice of Wi-Fi bands, so this is likely only going to be of use on a computer where existing Wi-Fi has broken. I’ll keep it around for that.

Fixed the issue - the adapter switched between 2.4 and 5ghz from my dual net router. I edited the connection in Windows to exclusively use 5ghz and have no more issues since

[revised] Works fine for the first month only. Now speed goes down to 10% every day and must be reinserted. Very low quality product -ed don't buy as the performance is unreliable!

Easy to add in Win10 on laptop. Has same sensitivity as another dongle I have with antenna, so as it is more compact it is great. Also good it is dual band.
