I read lots of review of different IP cameras 1 of the major complaints are
1) image isn’t clear which is not in this case, the video effect of Tapo camera is amazingly clear!
2) Subscription - people complaining they need to pay for the service but $4+ per month only!!! I got notification from motion detector! Video upload to cloud & free play back!
The system is easy to install & configure less than 10 mins each which I bought 2 sets (1 per floor) they all work great!!

Very good camera but...
Excellent camera and app. However, be wary of the stickers to attach the camera to the ceiling. After a few days, mine fell to the ground 8 feet. It still seems to work but, secure the plate with screws. For this reason, I give it 4 out of 5.

Bought this product last year, and 8 months later it broke down: dropping connection (e.g. cannot connect remotely often times), slow movements, and then it died on me. Cannot connect to their camera using my mobile app. The company refuses to replace this item (since in their policy somewhere it states that customers are required to pay for shipment, very obscure and I was not informed about it). Not recommended, poor quality. Spent numerous days troubleshooting this product with their customer support to no avail. Customer support refused to provide any specific steps (beyond what is stated in the manual). Thanks.
