This webcam has a built-in and adjustable ring light which helps to eliminate shadows on your face in videos. It picks up your voice well and has done everything I have asked of it. I'm only an occasional user of the webcam but it has been perfectly ideal for me.
If I have a suggestion to make it better, it would be to have a switch or similar to turn off the video camera when not in use, just so that any hackers who got into the computer could not see you.

It standard fitting just works for a webcam I had. The extendable lags make it flexible in term of the height (excluding the webcame, the stand itself can be used between about 12.5cm to 17.5cm). Note that the total height would be higher depending on your webcam, e.g. my webcame from the bottom of the attachment point to the centre of the len is about 4cm - the mini height then becomes 16.5cm. Hope this makes sense.

It serves the purpose I want, i.e. making the webcame easy to move around depending on what we need it to be.

Good: the ball head tightens firmly, can support a relatively heavy weight (unlike some other cheap tripods).

Bad: The legs must be fully opened, there is no in-between position. Arrived with bottom screw loose, needed manual tightening. One of the rubber feet arrived with a tear in it, it will inevitably break with some use. There was some dirt on one of the legs (I had to clean it off).

This was cheap enough to be a throwaway purchase, so in that regard, it's not bad value.
