I had a famous brand name coffee maker that stopped working after 3 months, so I bought this one. It is half the price of the other brand name one. I got it within a day, it's compact, has two settings, one for k cups, and it also came with a capsule that you can fill with the coffee of your choice. it's fast, the coffee is nice and hot, it adjusts to various cup and mug sizes, has an automatic shut off, and it is the best coffee maker I have ever had.

This coffee maker is supposed to be for K-Cup usage or for loose coffee grounds. Unfortunately I don't use store bought K-Cups, I use the refillable cups with a filter in them. I (mistakenly) assumed when it said K-Cups I could use the refillable ones. Every Keurig I've owned does this, I 'assumed' any machine that uses K-Cups meant you could use the reusable ones, but this machine has the normal 'needle' on top to pierce the cup but it also has a 'needle' on the bottom to pierce the cup. I've owned a few Keurigs and never seen this before. This makes it impossible to use the reusable cups. So I thought OK then I'll use the loose coffee grounds method. What a pain, emptying the basket and cleaning after every cup of coffee is really messy. It's impossible to just dump the grounds in the garbage. It takes quite a bit of effort to wash ALL the grounds out, and you end up with a mess of grounds in your sink to clean up. The screens in the basket seem very flimsy, I doubt they'll last very long. I'm not sure if you can buy replacement baskets. I bought this machine because I'm tired of replacing Keurigs which never seem to last very long, and this one was decently priced. I also bought the extended warranty which was supposed to be emailed to me 2 days after shipping, been nearly a week and still haven't received it. Unless you buy this machine ONLY to use the store bought K-Cups, and intend to use reusable cups or loose coffee grounds, I strongly suggest to NOT TO BUY THIS MACHINE! Also don't buy it if you like your cup of coffee quickly, it takes quite a bit longer than a Keurig.

This coffee maker is so good! It offers a water reservoir that can make coffee for a mug that's 7.5" tall and can hold 24oz. The ground coffee holder has a hinged lid on it so it's one unit. The overall quality is excellent and the price is great for the features offered. Don't hesitate to buy this one.

I bought this to replace my Instapot single brew coffee maker (which replaced a Keurig we had forever) because it stopped working.
Let me just say this is the best single serve coffee maker I've owned besides the Keurig (the instapot was horrible, they should just stick to air friers and pressure cookers).
It makes a great cup of coffee, has a water reserve tank, fits larger cups and brews very quickly.
Even my husband said that he really liked it as he brews a 40oz thermos of coffee every morning (works in construction).
I would definitely recommend it for anyone who is looking for and affordable single serve coffee maker, you will not be disappointed.

I feel like I go through ground coffee faster, because it brews so much quicker than our old drip pot and the water spends less time in the grounds. The water tank is small though, but my fix for that is a real quality of life improvement in my house!

I like the included reusable filter a lot. I add a tablespoon for my first cup, then add another for subsequent cups, draining a little more flavor out of the grounds each time. It does leave some fine grains at the end of the cup, but I just swirl it up and drink it - I'm not a coffee snob.

The real reason I bought this maker was for the external water storage tank. I added a small float valve and tapped into the RO water line that serves the fridge, now there's a continuous refill for the coffee maker! Cup after cup like a commercial version for 10% of the price!

After doing some research, and reading a lot of reviews of K Cup brewers, here's the conclusion that I've come to: They all make coffee, most of them do a pretty good job of it, but all of them fail within 1-3 years. I've been through two K Cup brewers. One lasted a little after a year. The other lasted about 3 years. There don't seem to be any models that have cleaning features, it doesn't seem to depend on the water used, the frequency of use, or anything. They just fail.

So my plan is to buy the cheapest model I can find, that has controls for chaning the size of the brew, buy the extended warranty and cross my fingers.

I feel like everyone buys these things for convenience, and I understand it. But in the year or so since my last K Cup brewer failed, I've been using a regular Mr. Coffee drip brewer. I make about 3-4 cups of coffee, which I can drink over the course of a morning. It's easy to operate, easy to clean up. My Mr. Coffee drip brewer is over 10 years old. Something to think about.
