First, do a system recovery. Then, go to create partition. Shrink the MAIN DISC, THE LARGEST. not the recovery or healthy partition. You will have to leave space for Windows. Your oem drivers, updates, etc, you will need. There is a lot of proprietary software from Samsung you won't get in Linux. They do help it run smoother. It's gonna be a dual boot. Make a Windows media recovery tool on a USB beforehand. Your TouchPad and keyboard are necessary. Mint is the best one for beginners because it will do all the heavylifting bootloader work for you. Remove all unnecessary apps and save your content it will go a lot faster on an almost empty disc. Go to settings AFTER YOU HAVE COMPLETED ALL THE OTHER STEPS I STATED. if you mess it up, it's on you. My dual boot is set up and working beautifully. F4 gets you into bios after the Samsung logo screen. You have to turn off secure boot but not pxe. You also need to burn a net install version of whatever Linux distro you use. Plug your power cord in and keep it in. Perform the install using Ethernet. It will take hours to do the entire process. You will need an adapter that has multiple ports. Usb-c, Ethernet, and USB A. My TouchPad wouldn't work. I had to use the tab key for functions. Just plugged in a wired mouse and made it much easier.
