What’s going on on June 14 vs June 16 dates?

June 14 is the in-person event at Zellerbach Hall at UC Berkeley featuring IRL networking, demos, roundtables, and talks. Following the in-person event is the online portion of the show on June 16. The online part is a roundup event recapping the show and features exclusive content.

Where are the roundtables?

Roundtables are being held across from Zellerbach Hall in the MLK Jr. Student Union Building, Level 4, Pauley Ballroom West.

I booked an in-person CrunchMatch meeting in the app, where do I do?

For your meeting, head over to the MLK Jr. Student Union Building, Level 4, Pauley Ballroom West. The building is located across from Zellerbach Hall.

How do I access the online day on June 16?

To gain access to the online day, you’ll need to activate your profile in the event app. From there, you can access all online content.

Are sessions recorded?

Yes, all main stage sessions will be recorded and available after the event. However, roundtable sessions will not be recorded.

I am under 18, do I need a chaperone?

Yes, anyone under 18 years of age needs a chaperone to accompany them. Chaperone must be able to make legal and health decisions for the minor they are accompanying.

Is there a bag check at the conference?

NO, there is no bag check at the conference nor a place for luggage storage. Please leave all luggage/bags at your hotel.

What is your cancellation policy?

Tickets cancelled by no later than May 27, 2022 will be eligible for a 50% refund on the purchase price of their ticket(s) by emailing events@techcrunch.com. Any cancellation requests made after May 27, 2022 are non-refundable but you will still be able to transfer your ticket to another person who is able to attend.

What is your COVID vaccination policy?

You must be fully-vaccinated, with booster for entry. Vaccination check will happen before you are allowed to enter the event. Masks are not required but are highly recommended. We will communicate any changes to this policy or specific requirements as we get closer to the event to ensure everyone understands the health requirements for attendance.

We recommend that you test before you come to the venue and if you test positive, or feel under the weather, please stay at home. You can contact customer service if you do test positive to discuss your options at events@techcrunch.com.

How to Get Here

We strongly encourage taking public transit to the venue as parking is limited.

BART Richmond Line:
Exit at Downtown Berkeley Station, located at the corner of Center Street and Shattuck Avenue. Walk one block east on Center Street to the “T” at Oxford Street, then turn right on Oxford until Bancroft Way. Turn left on Bancroft to Telegraph Avenue for Zellerbach Hall, Zellerbach Playhouse, and Wheeler Auditorium; follow Bancroft Way to Dana Street for First Congregational Church; to College Avenue for Hertz Hall; to Galyley Road/Piedmont Avenue for the Greek Theatre and the University Club at Memorial Stadium. Check the BART site for a current train schedule.

By AC Transit

Several AC Transit lines stop along Bancroft Way and in front of Zellerbach Hall, and other lines stop in front of the Downtown Berkeley BART station, which is a ten- to fifteen-minute walk to our venues (see the above directions from BART). Please check the AC Transit site for schedules and current lines.

By Car

From Interstate 80 (San Francisco, Oakland, Marin):
Exit at University Avenue exit. Continue east on University Avenue approximately 1.5 miles to Oxford Street. Turn right on Oxford Street, pass Bancroft Way, and turn left on Durant Avenue. (Our venues are located around the UCB campus, so please see the maps below for specific locations)

From Highway 24:
Exit at Telegraph Avenue exit. Turn right onto Telegraph Avenue and continue north approximately 2 miles to Bancroft Way. (Our venues are located around the UCB campus, so please see the maps below for specific locations)
