AWS Q web experience deployed automatically?

0

So I am exploring AWS Q Business. But I got Permission Denied with 403. I check the doc and it seems I need to configure Idp in IAM Identity Center with SAML 2.0. But then, I found that my Q is already deployed when I create the application, and the "Deploy web experience" just not clickable. I don't know why Q is deployed automatically in this case. There is no doc that mentioned this. Is this a new feature?

  • Ok. I get rid of the 403 error by delete all the IAM Roles related to Q and recreate the application again. (Tho I don't know why this work and I don't think it solve the problem permanently) But, I still don't understand why Q deployed automatically. Anyone have the same situation?

Hi hd,

When it comes to deploying a web experience using Amazon Q, opting to use the console for creating the Amazon Q applications provides more of a streamlined process. By utilizing the console, the web experience is deployed automatically when the application is created.

Here is more documentation on this topic.
