Ensure VPC and Security Group Settings:

Ensure your Aurora instance is in a VPC. Configure the security group to allow inbound traffic on port 3306 from QuickSight IP ranges. Configure QuickSight VPC Access:

Go to Manage QuickSight > Security & permissions. Add your VPC connection with correct VPC, Subnet, and Security Group settings.

Verify Database Credentials and Endpoint: Check the endpoint format and port number. Ensure the database username and password are correct. Create Data Source in QuickSight:

Go to Datasets > New data set. Select MySQL and enter the connection details. Test the connection.

Troubleshoot Common Issues: Ensure VPC has internet access or proper NAT gateway setup. Verify IAM role permissions for QuickSight. Whitelist QuickSight IP ranges in the Aurora security group.

Check Aurora Logs and Metrics: Review Aurora MySQL logs and CloudWatch metrics for connection attempts and issues. Contact AWS Support: If the issue persists, reach out to AWS Support for assistance.
