It's decent, but not very competitive.

To me, I don't really care about the refresh rate as far as my phone lasts for me from 9 to 5, i'm good. I don't game either, i only makes calls, email, YouTube and most times Zoom Meeting

Nearly everyone except for Google has better performance at the same price bracket. Compare Pixel 8 with Xiaomi 14, Pixel 8 Pro with the S24 Ultra/iPhone 15 Pro Max, etc.

                    efficient os + efficient soc. pair android with the worst soc in existence like exynos tradition and you're done. some s8g3 phones can keep up and even beat iphones though.

                              AI and camera carries 8a, else is better with other handsets. I have a55 , which I brought for 265 new. Battery is really good. It have fwals though(mainly FP scanner is rubbish).

                                    If you add the Nothing phone 2a or Samsung A35/A55 to the comparison table then it's pretty terrible. Add in Motorola or Oneplus and you get the point. Unless they move to TSMC or get a decent modem it is really hampering the phone.

                                      This is decent battery life for a 4500mah phone.
