Watch burns?

had my Apple Watch since 2021- and recently received a burn? not an allergy - it’s a burn and can tell it’s from the watch due to the circle pattern.

Is this a fault with the watch? If so what can I do? As I don’t think I can return as I don’t have any receipt but it shouldn’t burn.

Apple Watch Series 6, watchOS 10

You may have contact dermatitis caused by an allergic reaction to the Nickel in the metal cases, bands or Sapphire crystal. Nickel is used in the hardening process of stainless steel, aluminum and sapphire crystal.

I’d go to a dermatologist or allergist and get a diagnosis and recommended treatment. I’ve had rashes from an oat allergy I’ve had. Rashes developed on each forearm and when I discontinued eating oats, rash went away. Now, many years later, I can eat oats with no issues. Sensitivities and allergies can come and go. I hope things work out for you.

Oh really? I just assumed (I’d read it somewhere on here) that it was from the the battery possibility - I just assumed a rash was little spots? This is swollen and skin peeled.

Have you ever had poison ivy? Definitely not little red spots! Yes, dermatitis, eczema and others can look like blisters and other yuck. I can't use my right index finger for TouchID because of what eczema has done to it.
