Wireless printing from iPad Pro 11" M4

I've had iPads for years and never had a problem printing. I have a Brother inkjet all-in-one which supports Airprint. Before I got my new iPad Pro I had a 2nd gen 11" iPad Pro for several years which I bought new and it printed every time. But on this new one when I print a multi-page document it gets partway through and then stops, saying it can't see the printer any more. And there's a Print Order window which shows the print job in the queue and even if you cancel the print job, you can't close the Print Order window! The only way to get rid of it is to power off the iPad. Since I have never had this issue before it must be a problem with either the hardware or the latest version of the OS. Anyone else have an issue like this?

I, too, get the message with my iPad Pro m4, no longer seeing the printer when l print to my canon wireless printer if I print from another room from the printer. Sometimes l don’t even get the message, the printer just doesn’t print. So far, it will print if the iPad is in the same room as the printer. Maybe a wi-fi problem, if so, it must be unique to printers because I don’t have any other problem with wi-fi. At least as far as I know.

Printing worked perfectly on my new brother printer until the last Apple updates. This is for a new 13 inch M4. I tried everything I could think of and nothing worked except connecting USB cable. By the way, my wife’s MacBook Pro suffered the same printing problems at the same time as my new iPad… very strange. I don’t have a solution and at the moment we’re printing wirelessly and hope it stays that way.
