I have something I need to print I tap the print button and a window comes up saying no printer selected i go to another window and click my printer and tell it to print it comes back and says failed to connect to printer
iPad Pro, iPadOS 17
my ipad does not connect to my printer since last update 17.3. Have tried doing what apply says and does not work
None of these fixes worked, both iPads can find the printer, but not connect.
Ugh! This has not worked for me! Out of no where it started stalling mid print- then not finding the printer at all. I have restarted, checked WiFi connection, turned off private settings in WiFi and nothing is working. My job depends on being able to print. Please some one help!

I am unable to print from my ipad. For the previous 4 months my new iPad had no problems connecting with my printer and printing my daily screen shot of the Crosswords in the newspaper on my ipad

Going back to Android and Microsoft. It always works without strange idiocies.
I updated my brother printer and now it will not let my iPad read it
I disconnected printer and turned off printer that did not help but can print on dell computer

I had the same problem. One of the responses below was good for me: Switch off the Private Wi-Fi address in Settings. Go to Settings and select your WiFi, then switch off the Private Wi-Fi address.

My iPad started connecting while I was on the phone with the apple tech guy after restarting it for the 20th time. Tried to print the next day and it was back to not finding the printer. Gggrrrr!
